Potty Training
Any suggestions on potty training your daughter? I keep hearing stories of people potty training their kids at such a young age...any tricks I should know?
With your first you are antsy to get on to the next step. Chloe thinks she is ready to go on the potty but I am not ready. First thing is to wait till they are ready. Something happened with Alexis' training and she would NOT poop in the toilet for a really long time. She would just ask for a diaper. It was a huge battle with her. Hailey was a different story. I waited till she was ready and understood. We actually were going to Seattle on a trip and we told her when we got home she could start wearing panties. The second we walked in our door she took her diaper off and that was it for her. So my advice-- wait till she is completely ready. I may have more pointers as we get closer to training Chloe.
dominic is already potty trained. My advice is to pinch them every time you can tell they are pooping in their diaper, and every time you change it. He got the point really fast. I think my kid is just a genius though, so it might take mia a few days.
I have no advice except to wait till they are ready! All of my kids just did it so easily when they were ready. No fighting, no accidents...I was blessed to never really have to do it! :) I had the same thing with Kailee and Austin as Alexis and Hailey. It makes all the difference in the world to wait till they are ready!
