Do you ever get bugged when your wife wants to buy a $1300 chair??

I DO!!!!

Really? Wish you weren't a liar! $150 people.
Yes, I did try for the $1300 chair but I quickly came to my senses and am settling for one not even a fraction of the price.
What husband wouldn't reward their wife with such reasonable, money saving thinking?

It's all part of the art of negotiation. She presents an absolutely ridiculous plan and then makes me feel like I'm getting a "deal" by agreeing to the $150 chair. I see RIGHT through her! You can't "B-S" a "B-S er" my love! :)

Is it a nice comfy rocker recliner to feed baby in?

Hello there. Welcome to 2010 where women don't have to sit on the floor to feed their off-spring anymore.
Let's make a deal Johnny, when you grow boobs and feed our children from them, you can choose where you want to sit. Until that day comes I say the $150 rocking chair that will serve it's purpose for years to come, can be a beautiful gift from a husband to a wife that says well done with carrying and bearing my second child.
Love you.

I have to say I wish I would have invested in a nice chair!! We obviously don't have room for anything like that now but I often dream of having one of those fabulous pottery barn plush rockers. I may still get one once there is more room and money in our pockets. See- I am not pushing one way or the other. Yes a nice rocker is good- but if you don't have the money don't get it. Or sacrifice $150 of something else. Glad I can be apart of this marital "discussion". Love you guys! :)

sorry alli, I have to side with johnny. Not to toot my horn, but i have pretty cute stuff, and guess where most it is from. Craigslist. I know you come to my house and think where did she get that cool stuff. It's mostly secondhand. My rocking chair.....used. and i love it. And most of your stuff is ugly, you should really think about it.

Boooo... Get her a nice chair. Nursing a baby is a lot of freaking work and I she deserves a nice chair! $150, that's a bargain! I can't think of a better way to spend that money! But I do want to see a picture of it!

I got a great rocking recliner at Mor furniture after I had Maddie. It was like $500 so I'm thinking that $150 is an amazing deal. I could not live without the I got those first few months. Totally worth the investment. I'm sure Johnny will agree after he has to sleep in it for a few weeks....what? no?

LOL you two are too funny. I will have to side with Alli on this one. Seriously, after only nursing Bennett for 5 weeks now - even I know that having a nice chair is a MUST. :-)

Wow Johnny. How does it feel to be on a losing team? Do you finally know what needs to be done? You can find the chair on Amazon.com
We should include others in our disagreements more often. I win!!

Johnny & Alli said...

You win? This is not over! I'm calling NBC to see if we can get on the "Marriage Ref". I won't go down without a fight! ;)

As a matter of fact, I think I'm going to sell ALL of our furniture so Alli has to nurse on the FLOOR!

Oh so it'll be like when we had Mia? Great. We've come so far the last year and a half!
Your grandfather would be so disappointed in you.
I'll let you tell Colton someday that you made both of us suffer for the first 6 months of his precious life.

Awww... Colton? I like that!! How can you fight when you have a name for your sweet baby boy that is going to change your little lives so much. A chair is really the LEAST of your worries.
