Random photos from the last week

I found this drink on a food blog called Just Cook Already and I wanted to try it. I doesn't look very pretty and I'm not a photographer by any means. It's a Raspberry Iced Tea with fresh Raspberries, lemons, limes, simple syrup, 7-Up and a sprig of Mint. I felt pretty proud of myself. I cook a lot but I never try drinks. This was fun.

Mia is learning to eat by herself. Mom has a hard time with it because mom is a clean freak when it comes to her daughter. Yikes!

But she loves it! Except when we make her stop to take a picture.

Monday was so beautiful so my sister, mom and I decided to take the girls to the park.

I took them down the slide.

Mia didn't like it so I had to console her.

Then I put her down and she ran away from me for the rest of the day.

I made her try it one more time. She wasn't super thrilled. I put her on the swing and she freaked. So everytime I got near her after that she started screaming like I was going to make her do something she didn't want to do, so Carly had to chase after her and I played with Cami.

Afterwards, we took the girls to DQ for some ice cream. Mia wasn't interested in the ice cream. This was a short trip.
