Carly's birthday was on the 1st so we had a family celebration on the 4th. We played the gum game, water balloon toss and ate kabobs and corn and cupcakes. We had a water gun fight and there was a lot of laughing. It was a blast!

When we gave her this...it's a scrapbook I made for her with pics of her and Cami. I called my brothers and sisters and asked them to tell me their favorite memories and I put them on the last page. She loved it!

Chillin
Mia can't sleep on beds anymore because she rolls right off. When we go to mom and dad's we make a bed on the floor for her in the guest bedroom. I went to check on her because sometimes she just plays and talks instead of sleeping and I found her like this. AHHH! She had mangled herself into this PLASTIC BAG of toilet paper that was in the corner and had fallen asleep. Luckily she was still breathing. Guess I learned the scary way to look around the room to make sure that I can walk away and she won't die! Kinda cute though, huh?
We went back to Everett to watch fireworks at Legion Park with LJ and Ashley and his family. It was fun to hang with them. It's been months since we've seen them! The fireworks weren't that good. They were way better last year.

Walking back to our car. Mia loved the show. She was tired so she was a bit fussy. But she was pretty mesmorized by them.

She fell asleep in the car, like always, but she usually wakes up when we get her out of her carseat. She was so tuckered out that she stayed asleep on my shoulder! She's never done that before and it was pretty much the best thing ever!!!!!!

Hey Alli--Would that be LJ and Ashley Kyser? They were in our ward back in the day (Bothell 2nd)...I love Ashley! It's a small Mormon world.
What's the bubble gum game? Judging from the pictures we were probably just down from where you were at the fireworks... Topher slept right through them!
