Happy Birthday Princess!

Just a stroll down memory lane...she was only about a month old but I love this picture!!!

The other day at Georgio's Pizza, Great Grandma Val bought her these awesome sunglasses.

Brett and Katie took these pictures of Mia when she was almost 3 months old. Katie had some fun with photoshop and this is what we got. Super cute, huh?

My sweet 6 month old Mia!!! I cannot believe she is 6 months old today. She has grown so much the last few weeks. She is so much fun to be around! Her favorite things are sleeping, eating rice cereal, pears and bottles. She loves seeing daddy in the morning when she wakes up before I feed her. She LOVES to stare and observe her cousin Cami. Mia finds her very fascinating. Her new thing these days is to touch your face gently when she's close enough. But if she gets a hold of your mouth, she grabs it and it hurts. She is wearing 9-12 month clothes. She loves sleeping in her crib, she won't sleep anywhere else very well. She is also a fan of sleeping in just her diaper while it's hot! Her favorite toy is mommy or daddy's phone and her rings...almost anything that she can put in her mouth.

Yesterday I gave her a bath and while I was getting it ready, I put her in the sink, (her new favorite place) and the next thing I heard was a horrible scream and I looked over and she had turned the HOT water on with her foot. It was so sad. It was running on her for a few seconds and her skin and diaper were hot. Sad, huh? She won't be sitting in the sink anymore, I guess. My favorite story to this day is when Mia was only about 2 months old and she was sleeping in the bed with Johnny and I before we set up her crib in the new house. Johnny is way bigger than Mia so naturally she rolls into Johnny when they sleep. One morning Mia woke up and didn't make a peep, but Johnny felt her kicking and beating on his back. It wasn't until he rolled over and acknowledged her that she stopped and then gave him a big grin! I don't know why I love that story, but I do!

Mia I love you so much and am so thrilled that I get to spend almost every waking moment with you! You are my best friend and the apple of my eye!! Happy 6 month Birthday!
