False Alarm!

So last Saturday, we had a false alarm. I didn't tell many people about it because I was embarrassed, but I found this video and felt like sharing. So all day, from the time I woke up to the time we went to the hospital that night, I was feeling contractions pretty bad. Johnny had his turkey bowl and I was fighting through it. I told him if they hadn't gone away or gotten better, we needed to go to the hospital when he was done. After all was done, they still were bad, so Johnny. Clint and I went home, packed a small bag and headed for the hospital.
The gal checkin me said that my contractions were consistent with labor and I looked like I was in a lot of pain. (Polite way of sayin "you look like crap!") My face was super flushed and I was sweating! Yuck. I was only dilated to a one and she made me walk around for an hour to see if I would dilate more. I just found this video that Johnny took. Needless to say, I was sent home and no baby came. :(

Hate to say- if the baby didn't come then the contractions may be worse on the real day!! Good luck- we are thinking about you. I promise you that labor and delivery is an awesome thing and I have done it natural so that is saying SOMETHING!!!! Love you!!

That's hilarious. Though, if that were me, I would have thrown that cup at Johnny for repeating "Crazy Eights" over and over again ;). Can't wait to meet "little hammy" ;) Miss you guys!!!
